SUMMER DANCE CAMPS & WORKSHOPS: 


All Dance Camps are Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm.  A craft will be done each day and the cost for supplies is included in the price of the camp. Please have your little dancer bring a shirt or something they can put over their clothes to do crafts in. There will be a Performance at the end (Friday) of each camp at 11:45pm. Dancers will need to wear comfortable clothes they can move in. Dance shoes are not required, but are preferred.

Workshops and Intensives are held Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm or from 1-4pm, and will focus on dance technique.  These classes include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Strength and Conditioning. A performance will be given at the end of the week to showcase new skills.  Please wear appropriate dance attire.  For Hip Hop clean sneakers are required.  For Ballet a leotard, tights and ballet shoes are required.  For the Intro to Dance Workshop, lyrical, ballet and/or jazz shoes and tap shoes are required. These can be purchased online or at Target.

Dancers will need to bring a lunch or snack and water for camps and/workshops.

  • Intro to Dance Camp, ages 3-6:   June 5-9, 9am- 12pm

This camp will get your dancer moving and grooving as it introduces different dance genres, such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop. Dancers will have a chance to explore different ways to move while learning the basic elements of all these dance forms.   A performance/demonstration will be given on the Friday of the workshop to showcase the skills learned throughout the week. A dance oriented craft will be included. Please make sure to pack a snack and a water bottle for your dancer.

  • Hip Hop/Jazz Dance Intensive: June 12-16, 9am-12pm

Come learn some funky moves doing Hip Hop and Jazz. We will dance our hearts out as well as learn some brief history of Jazz and Hip Hop. We will also be showing some videos of these genres of dancing as part of their learning enjoyment. No experience necessary. Please make sure your dancer brings a snack and water every day to class. A brief performance of what your dancer learns will be shown the last day of the intensive during the last 15-20 minutes of class.

  • Intro to Dance Camp, ages 6-10: June 19-23, 9am-12pm

This camp will get your dancer moving and grooving as it introduces different dance genres, such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop. **CLOSED WEEK OF JULY 4TH IN OBSERVANCE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY

  • Intro to Dance Intensive, ages 10 and up:  July 10-14,  9am-12pm

Are you interested in dance but don't know where to begin?  Come and sample the basics of jazz, contemporary, lyrical and ballet dance in this week-long workshop.  Dancers will have a chance to explore different ways to move while learning the basic elements of all these dance forms such as alignment/posture, spotting, stretching of the feet and flexibility.  A performance/demonstration will be given on the Friday of the workshop to showcase the skills learned throughout the week.

  • Intro to Contemporary and Lyrical Dance:  July 17-21,  9am-12pm

This is an introduction class to Contemporary and Lyrical Dance. This class will teach and show the difference between the genres. Brief presentations of the history of each genre as well as some videos will be shown during the break/snack period. A small performance will be shown the last 15-20 minutes of the last class. No experience necessary. Please make sure your dancer brings a snack and water every day of class.


  • Kicks, Leaps and Turns (ages 8 and above): July 24-28, 9am-12pm

Must have some dance experience. This intensive will work on technique with basic turns, kicks and leaps. This intensive will aid the dancer in having better turns as well as making their leaps and kicks higher and stronger. Please make sure dancer brings a snack and water every day of class.

  • Princess Dance Camp, ages 3-6,   July 31-Aug 4, 9-12pm

Do you love Princesses?  Do you love ballet?  Well our Princess Dance Camp is the perfect place for you!  Come dressed as your favorite princess and learn basic Ballet steps while dancing to fairytale music. A fairytale craft is included. A small performance will be shown at the last 15-20 minutes of the last class to show parents their little dancer’s new skills in Ballet. Please make sure your dancer comes to class every day with a snack and water.
